It’s MECANORMA!

An attentive reader recognised the brand of the previous post as MECANORMA™, a French brand known for their dry transfer lettering, but less known for their self-adhesive foils. And they made normatape® : a smooth uniform self adhesive line on a roll! It almost makes you regret we now have Adobe Illustrator.
